Hi,
So, for business class I have to come up with a band name. Easy, right? WRONG! I have absolutely no idea what I should do. If I were to be in a band it would mean that I would have to sing, play the drums, or guitar (yikes!). Definately not in my future. But, let's be fanciful here, I guess I'd want something classic, maybe something classic. but I'd want something fresh. OH! What about...newly classical, orrrr trouble cleff. Get it? Instead of trebble cleff. Those would be my top two names for my fictional band. Any comments? If so, please be nice.
“Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.”
No idea who said that, but it wasn't me.

T-shirt wars
Hi Everyone. I went to another blog, and there was this really cool video there. It starts off with two people, and they put on a T-shirt, and a graphic appears. This graphic (on the t-shirt) is not 3-D, but 2-D. The t-shirts coincide with each other, it's almost like a game of rock paper scissors between the two. One t-shirt will have a graphic that the person will use against the other. Once the t-shirt's graphic has been used, the two get different t-shirts, with new graphics. An interesting concept. Check it out.

Director's Assitant at Pixar
Okay, so I'm in my business class, and we're learning more and more about computers, (short cuts), and animation. One of my assignments is to research a job that involves IT, specifically at Pixar. As you probably know, Pixar is a multi-million dollar company that creates films, mostly in movies generated to a younger audience ei. Toy story, and Finding Nemo. One job I found was a position as "Directors Assistant". Sounds interesting , like you'd be in charge of things, a worthy job, right? Well, it's a synonym for secretary. You have to organize the Director's schedule, make sure everything runs smoothly, and meet with possible clients when the director is too busy. You would have to provide support to directors, but you need 3-5 years of experience working for a group or single person who is/are extremely busy. Surprisingly, you don't need any diplomas (except for your high school diploma- that's pretty obvious) but you do need knowledge of Microsoft, and it's a bonus if you know about Mac Software. That's a hint as to what technology the company uses. I don't mean to be cruel to those who are Director's Assistants, maybe those jobs are different from this one, but I don't see this as a future career. I'd rather be the Director, I don't do well as a sheep.

New form, new quote
Hello World! Wow, this weekend was amazing. Friday was Semi Formal, and I had tons of fun with
Hi to those bloggers who are smart enough to "read between the lines" as I have hinted below.
my friends. I had to work on an English project, so my weekend wasn't just full of fun. Oh- almost
This definately makes blogging more fun! So, for you smarties out there, here's a quote just
forgot. I thought it would be easier for people to read if I double spaced my blog, so that's why it's
for you " Tell your friend a lie. If he keeps it, tell him the truth” I have no clue who said that.
changed. Here's a quote from one of my favourite artists, William Shakespeare. "Absence from
those we love is self from self - a deadly banishment." I find it intimidating that out of 6 billion
people, we are expected to find our other half. Scary? Isn't it.

For all the snow packing, fort building, and snowball throwing people out there.
Good Morning, because it's so snowy out there, here's a quote for the kid in us all. "The aging process has you firmly in its grasp if you never get the urge to throw a snowball. ~Doug Larson. Definately take the time to have some fun, throw a snowball, play truth or dare (inside joke), to keep you young. Life can definately pass you by, so take the time but have fun!

Love is....
Hello World. Valentine's day is soo close now, so here's the quote of the day, with the theme centered arouund l'amour
" Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails.I Corinthians 13:4-8"
I know that some of you may or may not follow this religion, but the entry about love is still true. Maybe other religions have quotes like this one, so please feel free to comment with those quotes.

A quote for today
Good Morning World! Because Valentine's day is drawing near, here's a quote to brighten your day:) "Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love."- Albert Einstein. I've decided exactly what I'm going to blog about. Each day, be prepared to read about a quote, and the information that goes with it. And for those single souls out there, who are happy being single, here's a quote about another type of love- friendship and kindness. "“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.”-Albert Pike.

What I know about the Superbowl (not much)
Good Morning world! It's an early, wait-let me correct that, very, early morning on a Monday. A start to another week. I here that over the weekend, the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl. I'm not much a football fan, but I'm a bit surprised at this. New Orleans is still recovering from recent incidents. Good for them to make a recovery in footballl:)

"Hey Jude" by Korean Toddler
Well, what can I say about the video with a Korean Toddler slaughtering "Hey Jude"..... It was definiately an interesting video. I hope that he doesn't regret that when he gets older, once its on the internet-it's there. The video has already been viewed by 817,914 people, that's neraly one million people who could blackmail that poor child. On the positive side, the audience looked impressed with the song, so there was some support.

Is anyone out there?
Well, this is a blog generated for a business class, I can't promise that there will be a constant flow of opinions; because currently.....I don't know what to blog about. Maybe I'll find inspiration from the movie Julie and Julia....or I could just ramble randomly.
