Siblings
Okay, I'm going to ask, "What's up world?" even though I probably won't get a response. But I'm still going to keep typing for whoever is listening. This weekend my plans are, English work, sleeping in, planning a garden, and cleaning the house from top to bottom. I'm a neat freak, and possibly obsessive compulsive when it comes to order. I have two little siblings who are the polar opposite of me, which means that we have a few arguments. What are siblings for? They do have their advantages, like a) pack Mule- when you have tons of things to carry from one area to another. b) someone to side with you for the battle of the remote. c) Servant :p- someone to help you with things (if you can get them to help) Yup. Having siblings can be positive. Here's a quote about siblings "I, who have no sisters or brothers, look with some degree of innocent envy on those who may be said to be born to friends. ~James Boswell

Today...
Hi World! Today we're doing basketball in gym, and I am scared. I don't like basketball at all, mostly because I'm absolutely terrible. I trip over my own feet. Yes it's bad, I know, and it looks even worse when you're on a team with people who are on a basketball team. But I still try my best, even when my best is pretty pathetic. In English class we're starting on a response journal for "To Kill a Mockingbird" I absolutely loved that book, one of my favourites. Speaking of literature, here's a quote "Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. "

The Awareness Test
So, there's this two minute video called the awareness test. There are two teams, one wearing black jersys, the other in white. At the beginning of the video, they ask you to count the number of passes the white team makes, while there is a flurry of activity around the group. The correct answer is 13, which, I got right! Go me! Anyway, at the end of the video, it asks "did you see the moonwalking bear?" And then highlights the point in the video when this happened, I didn't need it though, because, you won;t believe it, but I also saw the bear! I guess I am very aware.

Advertisements On School Buses?
Every community has a school bus, the big yellow machine that takes kids from one place to another. What if this classic symbol became a billboard, complete with advertisements? This is the story of a school in Fountain Hills, Arizona. In the land of commercialism, and consuming, most Grandparents feel that it isn't right to use a school bus for advertisements, even if the proceeds will benefit their children's learning. Yes, the companies are actually paying the school board for the bus advertisements, this is extra money for most struggling schools. As long as the advertisements are appropriate, I would take that over text books and computers from my parent's generation. What's so wrong with that, I would want to benefit from that, so I can become a contributing citizen.

6. Complete a puzzle
7. Go to Toronto
8. Clean the house completely!
Of course I have other things I want to do, but these are the top 8. Here's the quote of the day, about relaxation

Fashion
Hi everyone. Here's the quote of the day. I hope you like it“Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.”unknown. I hope you like it, I think it's true. I mean, how many times will you look at something, and say it's gorgeous! Then, two months later, with a new fashion, you can't look at it?! I personally don't do this, but I know people who do. Have a nice day.

Lesson Learned From an Interactive Mirror
On another blog, I read about amazing technology, that attracted different types of people. Wouldn't we all like to have this in our rooms, an interactive mirror? I would. But here's what happened to this blogger. Amazing new technology came out- the mirror, and of course there was a huge line to use it. This is every inventors dream, to make a product, and have people interested in it. People lining up to see it, waiting patiently, and then..... using it as an actual mirror!!? The lesson here is when you offer unique, strange technology, expect it to attract the same type of people, unique, strange, people. This author covers amazing stories, go to his blog at http://blog.litstudios.com/. He also embraces QR codes, codes that are almost like bar codes, and have messages hidden inside them. The author of that blog thinks that these are a work of art, a new way of communicating. This author also wants people to really understand technology, to become a part of it, because then it;s not "wasted". He wants people to love it as much as he does.
